💬 Microsoft Teams
Ask in Teams, answer in the mesh, reply in Teams.
A message to the bot opens or continues an agent thread in the mesh, and the answer is delivered back proactively. Because the thread is an ordinary node, the same conversation is readable, searchable and shareable in the portal afterwards.
What ships
- The Bot Framework messaging endpoint.
- Inbound routing from a Teams conversation into an agent thread.
- Proactive reply delivery back to that conversation.
- Notifications in Teams — approvals, inbox, triage and every other kind reach you in your conversation with the bot, unless you switch Teams off for that kind under Settings → Notifications. It starts once you have messaged the bot; until then Teams is skipped and the bell still shows everything.
